Websites that turn nearby searches into booked jobs

We design and build custom sites for local businesses: cafes, venues, event crews and trades. The price is fixed before we start, most builds go live in about a week, and the site is yours when it ships.

Or see every price first. Nothing is hidden behind a call.

Case study

Little Lennon Play Cafe

A Montessori-inspired indoor play cafe for children up to six, in Baton Rouge. Savannah Lennon needed a site that explained the place, took party bookings, and that she could keep up to date herself.

Client
Savannah Lennon, owner
Scope
14 pages, booking links, gift cards, owner editor
Timeline
Built May to June 2026, editor added in July
The Little Lennon Play Cafe homepage: a photo of the play room under the headline 'A place to play, sip, and find your village', with Plan Your Visit and Book a Party buttons
  1. The first line says what the place is, who it is for and where it is: the words a parent actually types into Google.

  2. Two buttons for the two reasons people come: plan a play session, or book a party.

  3. Photos of the real room, from the cafe's own photographer.

The brief

Parents needed to see the space, check prices and book a party, mostly from a phone. Prices and party packages were still settling in the first months, so Savannah needed to change them without waiting on a developer.

What we built

Fourteen pages covering open play, memberships, parties, events, field trips and house rules. Every Book Now button opens her booking system, gift cards sell through Square, and the embedded maps pin the cafe by name instead of an older listing at the same address.

Where it is now

Savannah runs it. From a simple login she changes prices, photos, party packages and FAQs herself, and each save is live in about a minute. Anything bigger comes to us through the client portal.

Who you work with

Alex Vallaire

I run AV Design out of Baton Rouge. When you hire the studio you deal with me, not an account manager.

I take the first call, design the pages, build them, and answer when something needs changing after launch. I care most about the unglamorous parts: a page that loads fast on a phone with weak signal, a booking button where a thumb expects it, a listing that shows up on the map, and prices the owner can change without calling anyone.

What you work on with me directly

  • The first call, then a written scope and price within 48 hours
  • Design rounds on a working page, not a mockup
  • Launch: your domain, hosting and Google Business Profile
  • Changes after launch, sent through your client portal

Pricing

How it works

A small build takes about a week

Your part of it is roughly an hour: one call, then feedback on a working page.

  1. Day 1

    Tell us about the business

A short call or the form below. We learn what you do, who you serve, and what the site has to make happen.

  2. Days 2 to 4

    We design and build

You see a real working page, not a wireframe. Say what you want changed and we change it, as many rounds as it takes.

  3. Day 5

    Launch and hand over

We connect your domain, set up the Google listing, and hand you the keys. From then on the site is yours.

Questions

What people ask before they hire us

What does a website actually cost?
Builds are one-time and priced by page count: $499 for two pages, $749 for four, $1,299 for eight, and $1,999 for fifteen. Add-ons like online booking, a Google Business Profile setup, or rush delivery are listed with prices on the pricing page, so you can total it up yourself before you contact us.
What is the free demo, exactly?
We build you a real page for your business and send you the link. Not a mockup or a stock template with your logo dropped in. There is no card, no contract, and no obligation. If you decide to go ahead, the paid build continues from that page instead of starting over.
How long does it take?
Most two and four page builds go live within about five days of kickoff. Eight pages runs closer to two weeks, and fifteen pages a little longer. The thing that usually decides the date is how quickly you can get us photos and content, so we tell you up front exactly what we need.
Do I actually own the site?
Yes. The domain is registered to you, the code and content are yours, and you can move the site to another host or another developer whenever you want. We do not hold your site hostage to keep you on a monthly plan.
What if I need changes after launch?
Small changes are what the $49 a month maintenance plan covers: broken things fixed, prices updated, logos swapped, links and portals kept current. Bigger work like new pages or a redesign is quoted separately, and you are never required to be on the plan at all.
Do you only work with local businesses?
Local and service businesses are what we are best at, because the playbook for getting a plumber or a play cafe found is different from the one for a software company. That said, we have built for event production, retail, and real estate, so ask.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your business name, what you do, the areas you serve, and any photos you already have. If you have none, tell us and we will tell you exactly what to shoot on a phone. Everything else we write and design, then you approve it.
